Korean chilli potatoes

This Korean chilli potatoes are Ideal as a snack, appetizer, or side dish. These potato noodles bring the perfect balance of heat and sweetness, offering a mouthwatering taste of Korean-inspired cuisine that will keep you coming back for more!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Large sized Potato
  • ½ Cup Cornflour/Potato starch
  • 4 Cups ice cold water
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped ginger
  • 2 Chopped green chilli
  • 1 red chilli powder
  • 1 soy sauce
  • 1 sesame seeds

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Potato masher
  • 1 PAN
  • 1 Pot

Method
 

Potato Balls
  1. Boil the potatoes and peel the skin . Then mash them very well
  2. Now add 1/2 cup cornflour/potato starch. Knead the dough well
  3. Now make small round balls. Now boil them for 2-3 minutes until they float on top of the water
  4. After they float immediately transfer them into ice cold water
Sauce
  1. To make the sauce add lot of chopped ginger, chopped green chilli, red chilli powder, soy sauce and sesame seeds in a bowl and pour some hot oil
  2. Now mix the sauce, add potato balls and toss them nicely in the sauce
  3. Garnish with some more sesame seeds on top.

Notes

  • Knead the dough very well 
  • When the balls float immediately transfer them into ice cold water
