First, wash the potatoes to remove all dirt. Cut each potato into 2 parts. Then cut each part in 4 to 5 wedges.
Bring water a give it a boil. Add the wedges and boil them for 3 minutes adding a little salt to the water (the potatoes will be cooked half not full). Drain the water and keep the potatoes aside. Cool completely.
Take a mixing bowl. Now add flour, oregano, pepper, and salt. Add water and mix them with the help of a whisker.
Take a pan and heat the oil on medium heat. When the oil is medium hot Add the wedges in the crust batter coat them properly. Now drop the potato wedges one after another and stir them occasionally until they become lightly golden.
Now remove the crispy wedges and serve with your favourite dip.
