Triangle Boiled Potatoes Fries

Boiled Potatoes Fries are a simple yet delicious twist on the classic crispy fries. By first boiling the potatoes and adding seasonings you achieve a soft, flavorful and fluffy interior, which contrasts perfectly with a crispy exterior when fried. These boiled potato French fries are incredibly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and can be enjoyed as a snack or side dish with any meal!
How To Make These Triangle Boiled Potatoes Fries:-
It is a very simple and easy dish. Follow my steps to make it.
Ingredients:
4 large potatoes, Salt (to taste), 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 2-3 tbsp cornflour (for extra crispiness), and Vegetable oil (for frying).
Directions:
Prepare the Potatoes: Peel the potatoes and cut them into long, evenly-sized strips.
Boil the Potatoes: In a large pot, bring water to a boil, and add a pinch of salt. Now add the potatoes and cook until they are fully cooked, so you can mash them very well.
Prepare The Dough: Take a mixing bowl and mash the potatoes with the help of a potato masher. Now add salt (to taste), 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 2-3 tbsp cornflour (for extra crispiness).
Shape The Fries: Place the dough on a flat surface and roll it. Now with the help of a pizza cutter cut it in so many triangle shapes.
Make The Fries: Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pan over medium heat. Fry the potato tringles in batches for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Drain and Serve: Once fried, remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with your favourite dipping sauce!

Notes
- For the best texture, use starchy potatoes like Russets
- Mash potatoes well
- For even crispier fries, you can fry them twice.
- You can experiment with different seasonings.
